Blatant Audacity

My mind twists, and with every turn a new frustration. What is it that makes people tick? How do they operate? Where do I begin? Time waits for no one does anyone wait on time? Lost in thoughts of you like you'd ever notice anyhow. I'm in love but frustrated. Missing parts of me like dominoes in a box of forgotten string. I won't know what's out there until I'm lost will I?

He was lying on the couch, propped up on the arm. A sound system was playing an array of songs from his ipod. In his arms was a slightly younger girl, she was beautiful and looked angelic as her chest rose and fell in a peaceful sleep. She looked so innocent, so breakable. Nothing could be hidden or displayed or faked when you were asleep. He was so tempted to kiss her small, full lips but did not want to wake her. She shivered and moved slightly. Even as a child he would sit in the dark, for the dark does not judge. It blindly loves and embraces y...

I've always loved the phrase,   "I will love you to the moon and back" .  It's always had a special place in my heart, I've had a Tshirt with that print and I've had a couple bracelets. I had this pair of bracelets that separated the saying. Sort of friendship bracelet type of thing. Anyway, my favorite band, one of the guitarist, Michael Clifford, had a tattoo that said "to the moon..." and that only made the phrase that much more special. I loved those bracelets I got and I had two plans for them.  To give one of them to Michael Clifford one day or         2. Give one to the person I was certain was special to me. Well, as the saying goes, best laid plans of mice and men often go astray. I laid out four options of bracelets to take. Two new ones I bought in Japan and my two bracelets. One bracelet said "To the moon" and was brand new, never worn. The other was "And back" and was completely dirty, worn, and ...
